Specialized Hardrock Mountain /Hybrid Bike For Sale - EXCELLENT CONDITION in Headington, Oxfordshire for sale

For Sale is a Specialized Hardrock circa 2004/5 in EXCELLENT CONDITION. This bike has been well used and well looked after since I bought it new. Less than 5 years ago most parts were replaced or upgraded. Original parts include: * The Frame and Fork - obviously scuffed, scratched and marked in places but no dents, bashes or bends. * Handlebar, Seatpost and Shifters - All fine and in good working order. * Wheels - Good condition - no buckles - they run straight. Everything else has been replaced. Of the replaced parts I upgraded to Shimano Alivio for the Crankset and front and rear mechanism. I also upgraded, amongst other parts, the tyres, stem, cassette, brake callipers, saddle and bottom bracket. Since overhauling the bike it has not seen a great deal of use as I have another bike which I've used a lot more. It has been my 'get about town' bike - hence the crosstrail tyres (hybrid style) and has been used for two small bike tours. Last October the bike was completely stripped, everything was re-greased, bearings in the headset and wheel hubs were replaced and the brake pads, brake and gear cables and chain were replaced. It has hardly been used since then. Looking to the future, if you were to purchase the bike, the tyres may need replacing within a year or two. They are not worn but are starting to show signs of cracking where the rubber is getting old. Also, a point to note is that one of the attachment points where you can attach a pannier rack to the rear stay is threaded and will need re-threading or, you can do as I did, and attach a rack with a rack clip (p-clip).
